Helpful tools for 4D Team, Databases

Oviyam is dedicated to creating all the graphic resource elements, from icons, buttons, and popup images, of all your products: components and databases. It contains a module for post sign, ditto, notarytool, and staple in a snap and with logs in tables. Another module "Gnânam" is for version updates from your products to trace what is to be reported between your databases, a kind of "pre-git" system.

Development

ogDevTools is perfect for project databases drag&drop actions and copy, batch actions on methods, locals Declare! & Rename!, the search of form's subforms, a documentation markdown manager and generator, a component documentation viewer, and code snippets in short. Plenty of other stuff is available at your finger's click.

ogMake is a fabulous easy-to-use zip archive/build/notary ie sign, ditto, notary, staple: one click!  For components, where you need to do this build chain too often to check versions, it is mind-blowing - easy and fast for databases also. A dedicated drag&drop quick notary module exists for your specific cases, ie generate a dmg for demos!

Deployment

ogColours is the next level indexed colour's manager you dreamed on. In one longint, you can save Stroke and Fill colours in for each sixteen color's spaces. A full fast library for rgb and indexed colours, menus, pickers, widgets, conversions, an svg helpful library with eighty beautiful patterns, all is there!

ogTools contains a huge set of common everyday's needs for your databases, date, time, record, windows, calendars... but also some meta widgets to know tables, records and fields space's consumption, relate manager and editor... and much more!

ogBoxes goal is straight : it is a repository, kind of dropbox, given as a root subfolder's widgets. Its use is as easy as place a widget in a form, that opens like a finder view of a dedicated disk space (globally, for tables, and for each records), managed in a client-server way of use, where you can drag&drop every kind of files, and display or recover them. It assumes a common places for a digital repository without the need to store the files in a blob into your datas. Low level methods are there to get or save files to obBoxes in the server for programmed actions (send an email with attachment from files in a ogBox...).

ogTaguthi is to create recursive qualifiers, or recursive todo list, very easily. All the required widgets and methods are there to deal with this recursivity with ease.

ogSvgWidgets is a set of widgets for all the properties of an svg picture. On top of them, a splendid svg editor with plenty of options to customise the global apparence of this editor.

 

Helpful tools for 4DTeam, Free stuff

We have some free stuff for programmers, in the form of 4DPop or not. The programming is old and not a reference, but they all work perfectly. All those components are given compiled in v19 R6, and with source code.

ogPop is a non-official fork of 4DPop, with some added functionalities and a better UI (this is subjective!). Possibility to open it partially, sort direct or reverse, menu with icons... It needs 4DPop for working for the prefs library.

ogPopRulers is an enhanced version of 4DPopRulers, with as many rulers as you need, a better interface, and a 4DPop menu with options.

ogResourcesBuddy is a replacement for the 4D Toolbox Resources, managing not only picture elements, but all kinds of files, and with beautiful UI and above all, a global search in all your resources folder - initially made for that.

svgMethodDraw is a component with a web zone where you can use the fabulous and working svg editor named method-draw. Easy and ready to use.

ogNotarize is deprecated but running all-in-one for notary purposes. You can find in it good progress and barber, and all the process is visually indicated. It can be a good How Do I, even if a class doing the same stuff is available on the web now.
